St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School

St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School

Our Nursery aims to provide a happy, caring, stimulating and safe environment in which every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. We warmly welcome visits to our Nursery, to see us at work, or to discuss your child's nursery provision.

We are extremely proud of our Nursery provision and our main focus is 'school readiness'. Children have a wide range of experiences throughout their time in Nursery, which is the first class of our school and we aim for each child to develop a love of learning.

The Early Years Curriculum focuses on seven areas of learning, which include 3 prime areas and 4 specific areas.  The characteristics of effective learning underpin learning and development across all these areas.

More information is available in the prospectus booklet below. We hope it will be helpful to you and answer any questions you may have about your child starting Nursery.

If you do require further information, or would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office and we would be happy to welcome you to visit our setting.
