One of our talented Irish dancers, Orla from year 5, recently qualified to dance in the Irish Dancing International and World Championships in Killarney.
Orla performed three dances in the under 11's category at the event held by the World Irish Dancing Association. Orla said she was "really nervous for the first dance, the next two dances were really fun. There were about 300 people watching and 5 judges. I've lots of experience in competitions but this was my first time in the World Championship."
Orla came 12th in her category and was presented with a world championship medal and certificate. Well done, we can't wait to cheer you on again next year Orla!
