At St Gregory’s, each year group is allocated a special mission project to carry out over the course of the academic year, in order to recognise and care for people beyond our school community who are vulnerable and in need of our care and compassion. Edison Class have been given the mission of caring for refugees. In the first half term of this academic year, we welcomed Chris Atkin, who led a session with the Year 4 children about CAFOD’s ‘Share the Journey’ campaign.

During Advent, the children made beautiful prayer cards containing messages of hope and courage, which were sent to refugee centres in different parts of the country.
