We had the pleasure of taking some of our Year 6 pupils to the Northampton Diocese Schools' Mass at the Church of St Mary's in Dunstable.  We were proudly represented by the pupils that had applied earlier this term, for the posts of Headboy and Headgirl.

Bishop Peter celebrated Mass for us and other schools from across the Catholic Diocese of Northampton.  The readings reflected the theme of 'Chosen and Called', Bishop Peter reminded us that he can see beyond our imperfections on the outside to the goodness in each of our hearts. 

Each school had written prayers and made a baton to hold them, as our baton was passed to another school we also received a baton from a school.  The pupils were given a chance to meet each other and we pledged to pray their prayers and keep our new friends in our thoughts as we return to our own school.
