This term year 1 are studying the topic Kings, Queens and Castles.  The children have created castles as part of their homework to encourage learning about the different parts of a castle.  Thanks to grandparents, parents and other family members the children have created some super master pieces.

The year 1 classes also dressed up as knights, princes, princesses, kings and queens on 21^st April to fully immerse themselves in their topic.  The children have also been learning more about St George, some have been on a St George fact finding mission and written up their findings.  Have a look at their writing, creations and costumes below.
