Year 2 - A Victorian Home

Our year 2 pupils have been studying the Victorians and as part of his homework, Eduard made a fantastic model of a 19th century house.  He considered the colour and texture of the road and made it from blackened rice grains.  The bricks were individually drawn on and much thought was given to other details like the light fittings, wall hangings and furniture the Victorians might have had.

"I used pumpkin seeds for roof tiles and my mum helped colour in the candles to make the lights.  I made a chimney, it is basically some paper that I drawed with black and there's a fireplace inside." - Eduard
