Year 4 - Maps and 3D Terrains
Last term year 4 learned how to draw maps in geography. Over the Easter half term break the pupils were set the task of creating a map of an area of their choice. They could draw, use a computer or create a 3D terrain.
Below are a few examples of year 4's work:
Amelia made a 3D model of her neighbourhood including terraced and detached houses.
Matieusz made a 3D model of the Grand Canyon as he would like to go there one day.
Patryk drew a 2D map of his local area.
Chloe drew a 2D map of her favourite Northamptonshire park, Abington Park.
James made a 3D model of Old Trafford Football Stadium, as it was the first stadium that came to mind, even though he supports Tottenham Hotspur!
