During our RE lessons, we have been learning about the topic 'gathering'. We have learnt about people gathering together at church. After our visit to Sacred Heart last week, the children have a better understanding of what a mass involves. We also watched the live streamed mass at the Cathedral together to help us to act out our own gathering at church. Benjamin played the role of our priest and we listened carefully as he "read" scripture from the bible! We also role played going up for a blessing and holy communion and what this involves. We enjoyed singing our new favourite song "Gather together" at the beginning of our mass!
