Today, we along with the other schools of the Northampton Catholic Diocese travelled to be together in Dunstable, to be led by Bishop Peter in a joy filled Mass.
Bishop Peter celebrated the mass and told us all how important it was for us to remember that we have been called by God for a purpose so we must listen when we pray to what He is saying to us. At the mass, we handed over a prayer baton filled with prayers written by every child in our school. The prayer baton has been taken to St Edward’s School in Aylesbury, where the children there will continue to pray for us throughout the academic year. We have been handed the prayer baton from Holy Family School in Slough and we will pray for them throughout the year to come.
Our children were wonderfully behaved and spent the coach journey back singing their favourite hymns and chanting their number rolls.
Below are some prayers from our own pupils.
