Year 1 - Science Week

During Science Week we completed lots of different experiments. Egg shells, which are made of the same materials as our teeth, were put in different drinks and we observed what happened to them over the course of a week. Some shells changed colour, some went soft, but the only shell that didn't change was the one in water.

We had a great surprise at the end of Science Week when Lee from Bugtopia arrived with a variety of animals. We were able to hold a stick insect, a millipede, a corn snake, a bearded dragon called Lemy and a chinchilla called Bob.
